Automation Technician

About the Role

We are looking for an automation technician for our client in the Ludvika area who can support the daily operations of an advanced logistics facility.

Our client is a multinational company specializing in the development of automated and logistical solutions for the manufacturing industry, such as robots, laser-guided vehicles, labelers, and automated warehouses.

The role is responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient equipment through both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as troubleshooting. The work also includes reporting system performance, managing deviations and spare parts, and maintaining order and structure in the maintenance environment. You will also actively contribute to improvements, modifications, and further development of systems and equipment.

The position is full-time, daytime 8-5, and permanent. Employment is directly with our client. Start during Q1 2026.

About You

The position requires a technical background in electromechanics or industrial automation, as well as a good ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings. Experience from similar roles in the manufacturing industry is an advantage. Knowledge of control systems such as Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, or Allen Bradley/Rockwell is not required but is seen as a benefit.

Swedish (advanced or native level)
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
The willingness to make a difference and curiosity to learn new technology
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
National electrical certificate
Driving license B and car owner.
